This qualification is a ITEC level 3 Diploma course - it is covered by 7 mandatory units and 1 additional unit. Upon completion there will be a practical and theory examination.
The Practical Massage element covers:
Unit No. 340 - Body massage and theory. Includes 18 documented treatments Unit No. 341 - Reflective practive for Body massage which includes documented 6 people having two treatments.

Unit 346 Anatomy and Physiology and Pathology - taught and home assignments Unit 347 Less known pathology - home assignment
Unit 348 Principals and practice for complementary therpies - home and taught assignments. Unit 349 Business Practive for complementary therpies - home and taught
assignments Unit 350 Health Safety and Hygiene for complementary therpies - home and taught

Additional Knowledge Unit Unit 351 Healthy eating and well being for the client for complementary therpies - home and taught
assignments
Sessions start at 8.30 and finish at 5. - 5.30
p.m. The course will be on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday for 2 blocks then Saturday and Sunday for a further 2 blocks ITEC Exams will follow up to a month from the last teaching day of the course. One additional
mornings is required for the ITEC
exams which consists of 1 hour
practical. Theory exam will be undertaken on the last day of taught class.
Pre-entry requirements: Minimum age 16 no previous experience necessary, 5
